Meet Bodie, a delightful Boxer X Lab Mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines! She's approximately 26lbs and was born around February 3rd, 2026. Bodie's journey began in a difficult situation, found alone and starving in a drainage pipe. Despite her challenging start, she greets every day with a wagging tail and an abundance of affection. Her resilience is truly inspiring, and she was even brave enough to represent our adoptable dogs on the news, where she was perfectly well-behaved! Bodie is a wonderful medium-sized companion who adores people and thrives on cuddles. She's dog-friendly and enjoys playing with her canine friends, making her a fantastic addition to a home with another playful pup. Bodie also loves car rides and adventures, and she'd never pass up a pup cup!

Transportation
Bodie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee, and pickup locations may vary, including to nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. You must be able to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
