Bonnie

Bonnie is a beautiful mixed breed who is about 2.5 years old and around 45lbs. She recently became a mama to 7 puppies and is now ready to find her own perfect home! She's a total sweetheart who loves to shower you with hugs and attention. Bonnie is incredibly smart and agile, so she'd be thrilled to have an active life filled with enrichment. She's friendly with dogs and kids, but once she bonds with her people, she can become protective. Because of this, we're looking for a home with someone experienced in managing guarding behaviors. For this reason, we are recommending her for households with children over 12 years of age. While she seems to enjoy the company of other dogs at the shelter, Bonnie does have a prey drive for small animals, so a home without cats or other small pets is a must.

Bonnie would thrive in an active home that can provide her with plenty of enrichment. Due to her protective nature, an experienced owner is preferred. She needs a home without cats or small pets. She is also recommended for households with children over 12 years of age.
