Hardy

Hardy has been patiently waiting for his forever home. He has come a long way from the scared dog many of us saw in the shelter - he is curious and brave, exploring new things and people cautiously. He has strong boundaries and prefers to come into your space, rather than you come into his - until he trusts you then he’s a love bug! Hardy is very much a threenager and loves to play and talk back with a sweet little howl. He is crate trained, house trained and can settle into place terrifically!

Ideal Home

Hardy would be the happiest in a calm, child-free home. No cats. Small dogs are welcome, and large dogs are welcome with slow introductions. A commitment to continuing crate usage is required.

Ongoing Health

Hardy is healthy, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is allergic to chicken.

Training & Support

Hardy currently knows the commands “go” (for his crate), “sit” & “shake”. He will sometimes speak and is learning what “leave it” means. He walks kindly on a leash and is currently being muzzle trained.
