Spuds -

Spuds is a handsome 7-year-old, 40-45 lb lemon Beagle/Lab mix with long legs and a cute stubbed tail! He has formed wonderful friendships with some of the other dogs here, and might do best if adopted with one of his buddies. Spuds is selective with his people and can be wary of strangers, and has been known to bite. However, with the right patient and understanding individuals, he is a truly good boy! He loves to cuddle, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is happy to romp around the yard. He's a good boy who follows his people obediently and walks well on a leash.

Ideal Home

Spuds needs a home with people who understand his need for space with new people. He requires a patient adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to build trust.

Ongoing Health

Spuds is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Spuds has learned to trust us by having people visit frequently for short, positive interactions. The key is consistency and allowing him to approach you. This same approach will help him bond with his new family. We recommend continuing with positive reinforcement methods to build his confidence.

• We will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow up to a week for us to respond.
• Most appointments are Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour.
• Please bring any other dogs and the entire family to your meet and greet.
