Aurio

Hello there! My name is Aurio. I’m an almost 50-pound, almost 4-year-old Heeler/Pit mix gal, and I'm putting myself out there hoping to find my forever family. I'm house trained and crate trained, and I'm good on a leash when no other dogs are around. I do tend to get a bit protective when walking near other dogs, but I have lived with my buddy Max (who's also up for adoption!) for over a year, and we love to play together, so other dogs might be fine with slow, proper introductions. Cats are a no for me, but I get along great with kiddos! I love to go on car rides and adventures, so my ideal family would be active and willing to take me with them to dog-friendly places. I'm smart, playful, and affectionate, and I especially love to play fetch!

Ideal Home

I would love an active family who will take me on adventures and to dog-friendly places. A fenced yard to run and play in is a must! I might enjoy having a furry friend to play with, but slow and proper introductions are key.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee of $150 includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

I am house trained and crate trained. While I am good on a leash when no other dogs are around, I can get protective when walking near other dogs.

Transporation

I am located in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state with vet references and a video home check. The adopter is responsible for coming to get me and returning me if the adoption does not work out.
