Dutchess is a beautiful, approximately 10-year-old Australian Shepherd who is ready to find her forever home. She's had a distinguished past, having been a show dog and part of a breeding program. Before that, she lived in Texas and even won several dog shows! She's healthy, knows basic manners, and is potty, crate, and leash trained. Dutchess enjoys leisurely walks and being with her people. While she's not one for fetch, she excels in grooming and nail trims, as expected from a former show dog. She has been raised with children and does well with them.

Ideal Home

Dutchess would thrive in a home where she can relax and enjoy her retirement as a beloved companion. She is the alpha dog and needs to warm up to other dogs, and is mainly good with male dogs. We are unsure how she would do with cats as she has not been introduced to them.

Ongoing Health

Dutchess is healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming. She has been vet-checked and receives regular healthcare. It's important to note that Dutchess has a specific dietary need: she does not tolerate table food and should only be fed dog food. The Purina One Lamb and Rice formula is recommended for her.
