Toby is a delightful 1-year-old French mix, weighing around 11 lbs. He's a bundle of love, full of energy, and always ready to shower you with kisses! Toby absolutely adores his walks, enjoys a good run, and loves to play with other dogs. He has a special soft spot for men!
His past was a bit ruff – Toby was abandoned and then sadly hit by a car. He needed dedicated care to recover, and thankfully, he's healthy today! While he's now doing well, he can sometimes have bursts of anxious energy. What Toby truly needs is an active and patient family who can help him channel his joy through plenty of play, exciting walks, and abundant love. Ideal Home
Toby would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. A securely fenced backyard with a tall fence is a must. Families looking for a dog to truly rescue, with a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of street animals, and a willingness to provide protection and education, are ideal. Experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a commitment to hiring a trainer to help this intelligent boy reach his full potential. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are also essential.
Ongoing Health
Toby has completed a comprehensive health protocol including: spay/neuter certificate, two DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, 4DX test and certificate, negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Toby is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period due to past experiences. Patience, understanding, and establishing a routine with clear boundaries will be crucial in building trust and a strong bond.

- 1-2 references will be contacted.
- Upon approval, an adoption contract will be signed, and an adoption fee will be collected to help cover Toby's care.
Transportation
Toby is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. We offer door-to-door delivery through a partnered transport company. This service includes scheduled trips (3-4 per year with 15-20 adoptions per trip), a dedicated transport team, all necessary legal documents and health certificates, cross-border transport (into Texas for US adoptions, or to the nearest US-Canada border for Canadian adoptions), real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group, and final home delivery. There is a one-time transport fee of $400 USD.
