Karma

Karma is a small, sturdy, and active girl whose tail never stops wagging! She was found abandoned in a crate and brought to us for emergency medical care. Now in great health, Karma is one of our longest rescue residents and we're eager to find her perfect forever home. She absolutely loves her toys, especially balls, and is happy to snuggle on the couch for movie nights. Karma can be a little unsure around new things and loud environments, so a quieter home with a patient owner who has experience with shy dogs would be ideal. She thrives with positive reinforcement and becomes more confident as things become familiar. Karma would do best with someone who is home often, as she doesn't do well with long periods alone. She is crate trained, housebroken, and sleeps soundly through the night.

Ideal Home

A home with a yard and a quiet environment where she won't be overwhelmed by busy surroundings. A patient owner experienced with shy dogs is a bonus. She would prefer a homebody who isn't gone for long periods during the day.

Ongoing Health

Karma has some dietary considerations and would do best in a home that understands or is willing to learn about a raw-feeding plan.

Training & Support

Karma is crate trained and housebroken, with no accidents in her foster home. She knows "sit" for treats and is eager to catch a tossed treat. She needs a patient owner to help her build confidence with new experiences and reassure her.

Karma is located in a foster home in the NYC area. Transport may be available for approved adopters within the tri-state area.
