Jill

Jill was abandoned at a Houston Jack in the Box with her puppy, Jack. She slept outside for weeks, eating scraps in the hot sun. Thankfully, the pair was rescued and is safe in a loving foster home. She is protective of her baby but eager to get to know people and cuddles up quickly. She spends her day napping at her foster's feet and can shake and sit on command. She is still a bit cautious, and although she gets along with her doggy foster siblings, she leaves the roughhousing and play to Jack. Jill is a sweet girl whose difficult life has left her much wiser than her years.

• You must be willing to have a Love And Rescue volunteer do a home visit.

• Out-of-town adoptions for Dogs: $300.
