Hey there! I'm Chook, but my foster parents also call me Chaz JuM! I'm a handsome Bully Breed mix with a lovely red coat and some truly unique ears that make me extra special. At around 42 pounds, I'm not a huge guy, but I've got a personality to match my size!
My journey here was a little bumpy, starting with a kind bystander who couldn't keep me long-term. Luckily, I landed with my current foster parents, and guess what? They're professional dog trainers! Talk about a win-win! They've been teaching me all sorts of cool tricks like "sit," "down," and my absolute favorite, "place!" I'm also learning how to follow leash guidance like a pro.
When I first meet you, I can be a bit shy, but once I warm up, I'm a bundle of fun! I love to let my voice be heard and zoom around the backyard like a happy-go-lucky goofball. My play style can be a bit mouthy with my people, so I'd do best in a home with older teens who understand how to play safely with me.
I absolutely adore other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions! While I can be a little pushy sometimes, I'm quick to learn and respond to corrections, so we'll get along swimmingly. I haven't had a chance to meet any cats yet, so that's a mystery for now.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home with older teens, as I have a mouthy play style and am not suited for homes with young children. I'd also love to live with other dogs!

I'm learning so much with my foster parents, including basic obedience cues like "sit," "down," and "place," as well as leash manners. I may need continued guidance on my mouthy play style.
