Alexander: Not At the Shelter (Wendy)

Alexander is a distinguished gentleman, likely around 10 years old, who has blossomed in his foster home. He arrived with us having battled heartworm and two tickborne diseases, but after a year of treatment, he's now heartworm-free and has received a clean bill of health! Alexander is a happy and appreciative soul who enjoys the company of other dogs, both male and female, and has gotten along well with hounds and a beagle in his foster home. He's a laid-back fellow who truly savors the comforts of home.

Ideal Home

Alexander would thrive in a home that appreciates his mature charm. We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice.

Ongoing Health

Alexander has successfully completed heartworm treatment and is now heartworm-free with a clean bill of health.

Training & Support

Alexander is a laid-back companion who has settled in well. His foster mom describes him as happy and appreciative, suggesting he's a joy to have around.
