Venus

Venus is an adorable Great Dane mix, weighing in at about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid when you first meet her, but with a few treats, she quickly blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. She's a bright girl who is a fast learner and already knows commands like 'sit', 'down', 'paw', 'leave-it', and 'watch'. She is also potty-trained and crate-trained! Venus has medium energy and is very food motivated. She's even a good office companion, happy to hang out while her foster mom works from home.

Ideal Home

Venus would do best in a home without other pets. She is a sensitive soul who is actively working on her dog reactivity training during walks, so a calm environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Venus has been fully vetted, including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age-appropriate vaccinations. She has also received a veterinarian exam within the past 30 days.

Training & Support

While Venus is a quick learner and knows many basic commands, she is still working on her reactivity towards other dogs on walks. Consistent positive reinforcement and continued training will help her build confidence.
