Meet Dozer! This handsome little guy is a 9-week-old puppy with a sweet and independent personality. He enjoys playtime with his siblings but is also happy to do his own thing. Dozer has plenty of puppy energy for when he's playing, but he's also content to relax and take it easy, making him a great fit for a moderate to lower-energy home. He's curious, playful, and independent, and has been raised around children, doing well with them. His laid-back personality may make him especially well-suited for a home with older children who appreciate his more relaxed style. Dozer enjoys toys and gets along well with other puppies, and would likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home to keep him company.
Ideal Home
Dozer would thrive in a home that appreciates his more relaxed style, possibly with older children. He would likely enjoy having another friendly dog to keep him company. A home where someone can be present for a good portion of the day is ideal, as puppies under 6 months old cannot be crated for long periods and have developmental needs that require companionship. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, please provide details on who will be available to spend time with Dozer during those hours.
Ongoing Health
Dozer is a young puppy and will need to be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age, as per the spay/neuter contract. Adopters will be responsible for this procedure. A $100 refund of the adoption donation will be provided upon proof of future spay/neuter.
Training & Support
Dozer is still learning the ropes, as is typical for a 9-week-old puppy. He is currently working on potty training and stays in a puppy pen when unsupervised. He will need a family committed to teaching him all the basics as he grows.

Transportation
Dozer is currently located with his foster family. Transports run every few weeks, and approved adopters will be placed on the next available transport after their application is approved.
