Barney Delight is a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs, who is guaranteed to bring joy into your life! He's a certified good boy with an easygoing, go-with-the-flow personality that makes him a wonderful companion. Barney loves being close to his people, playing with toys, and going on adventures. He's affectionate, mellow, and his wiggle butt will melt your heart. Barney is crate and potty trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is smart, already knowing commands like "sit" and "shake." He's the perfect mix of energetic and snuggly, enjoying both outdoor exploration in a nice backyard and cozy couch time.

Ideal Home

Barney would love a home with a nice big backyard for him to roam and relax in the sun. He also enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a canine friend who likes to play and also appreciates downtime. However, if you don't have another dog, Barney is happy to be your one and only, as he is more people-oriented and thrives on affection.

Ongoing Health

Barney is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Barney is already crate and potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He's also a smart cookie, knowing basic commands like "sit" and "shake." He enjoys playing games and engaging in gentle wrestling matches but also knows when it's time to relax.

Barney is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
