Vega

Vega is a one-year-old standard poodle with a big personality, a bigger heart and mind, and an appetite for adventure! At just under a year old, Vega managed to swallow a sock and some fabric resulting in an obstruction, which led to an abdominal surgery to save his life. His owner reached out to Wags for help, and we said yes without hesitation – because that’s what Wags is here for. Now Vega is recovering beautifully in a loving foster home in Toronto, and his foster family has had the joy of watching this sweet, silly boy settle in and enjoy life.

Ideal Home

Vega is a playful and affectionate boy who loves adventure. He gets along with other dogs. We are unsure how he would do with children or cats.

Ongoing Health

Vega recently underwent abdominal surgery to remove an obstruction caused by swallowing a sock and fabric. He is recovering well in his foster home.

Training & Support

Vega is house-trained.
