About Violet

Violet is a darling, gentle, and loving 1-year-old girl who weighs 70 lbs. She was found in a ditch in a rural part of southern Mississippi with her brother and sister just hours before a major flood swept through the area. Fortunately, Wags stepped in just in time, and Violet, along with her siblings Rose and Gunner, were taken into the rescue. They received the care they desperately needed, including being spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, they are all ready for loving families of their own!

Violet just loves to play and spends her days running and romping with the other dogs at the rescue. She is a shadow to her foster mom and loves to be with her. She's an easy-going, friendly family dog with the best ears ever!

Ideal Home

Violet thrives in an active environment where she can play and romp. She enjoys being with her people and would likely do well in a home where she can be your shadow.

Ongoing Health

Violet has been spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Violet is a playful and friendly dog who enjoys interacting with other dogs. She is eager to be with her foster mom and would likely benefit from continued positive reinforcement and socialization.

Transportation

Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by transport. Dogs are listed along the transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes we are able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, and we always need foster homes!
