About Lena

Lena is a beautiful Rottweiler who's just beginning the next chapter of her life, and she's hoping it will be with you. After lovingly raising a litter of puppies, this devoted mama is ready to pour all that affection into being someone's best friend and constant companion. The first thing you'll notice about Lena is how much she adores people. She's not the type of dog who's content to lie across the room from you—no, she wants to be right there, pressed against your leg, gazing up at you with those soulful eyes. She's convinced she's a lap dog, and despite her substantial size, she'll do her very best to curl up as close to you as physically possible. If you're looking for a dog who will follow you from room to room just to be near you, Lena is absolutely that girl. Lena's favorite thing in the whole world? Tennis balls. Her face lights up the moment she sees one, and watching her play with her prized possessions is pure joy. They're not just toys to her—they're treasures, and she'll happily spend hours chasing them, carrying them around, and bringing them back to you with that proud look that says, "Look what I have!" When it comes to other dogs, Lena is a social butterfly. She loves a good game of chase and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to romp around with. That said, she's equally happy being your one-and-only dog, as long as she gets plenty of love and attention from her humans. She's also doing well with cats, though she's still learning to be gentle. She's not aggressive in the slightest—she just doesn't quite realize yet that she's much bigger and stronger than her feline housemates. Lena has recently transitioned from living outdoors to being a full-time indoor dog, and she's adjusting beautifully. The indoor world is still pretty exciting to her, though, and all the activity—people walking by outside, other pets moving around, the general bustle of family life—can sometimes make it hard for her to focus. She's working on her leash manners and learning not to get too distracted by cars and passersby during walks. With patience and consistent training, she's making progress every day. Because Lena is such a powerful girl, she needs to be supervised around small children and babies. She's wonderful with kids and absolutely loves them, but she simply doesn't understand her own strength. A gentle nudge from Lena can be a bit overwhelming for little ones, so she'll do best in a home where her family can help her learn to be calm and careful. The same goes for car rides—Lena gets a bit anxious in vehicles and will try to climb into your lap for comfort (because, remember, she thinks she's lap-sized). A car barrier or crate will keep everyone safe and secure during travel. What Lena needs most is a patient, loving family who understands that she's still learning and growing. She's not a finished product—she's a work in progress, full of potential and eager to please. She needs someone who will take the time to train her, guide her, and show her what it means to be a beloved family dog. In return, she'll give you unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a bond that will fill your heart. Lena is the kind of dog who will greet you at the door with a wagging tail, settle in beside you for movie night, and make you feel like the most important person in the world. She's ready to leave her past behind and step into a future filled with love, tennis balls, and all the cuddles you can give. If you have room in your home and your heart for a big, sweet, snuggly Rottweiler who thinks she's a teddy bear, Lena is waiting to meet you.
