Willow, her six siblings, and their mother Loreya were found abandoned on the side of the road in San Antonio, Texas. Thankfully, a kind witness rescued them and brought them to safety. Now they are all happy to be out of the heat and settling into their new mountain home!
Willow is an affectionate Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who truly is the total package: brains, brawn, beauty, and a whole lot of love to give! She's as sweet as they come, with a gentle and loving personality and a soft, expressive face that will absolutely melt your heart. She loves to run and play, making her a perfect match for an active person who enjoys the outdoors. Willow also loves water, and bath time is no problem for this cooperative girl! She's a dog park regular and loves playing with other dogs. Willow follows her people around the house and adores being petted. She's treat-motivated and enjoys puzzles, learning, and bonding with those around her. She's very responsive and eager to please, doing well with guidance.
Willow knows "Sit," "Down," "Paw," "Spin," "High five," "Scoot," "Leave it," "Uhuh-no," "Let's go," and "Kennel." She also understands Spanish when spoken by men!
