Kitty

Kitty is a handsome boy who is all dog, all heart, and full of personality! He came to us as an unclaimed stray and we've learned he was previously known as Houston and rehomed in May 2025. He lived as an indoor dog and enjoyed human attention. Kitty is a smart boy, weighing about 68 pounds and born on April 20, 2023. He's an energetic young dog with a lot of enthusiasm for life, and he loves to show off the commands he already knows!

Ideal Home

Kitty would do best as the only dog in the home or with careful, experienced placement due to a past incident with an intact male dog. He also has a high prey drive and should not live with cats, chickens, or other small animals.

Training & Support

Kitty is crate trained overnight and rides well in the car. He is a smart dog who can open certain doors and may slip out of a tie-out if it is not secure, so supervision and good management will be important.
