Meet Mila! This sweet and curious 3-year-old, 40lb Pitbull/Staffie mix is a bundle of joy looking for her forever family. Mila is incredibly people-oriented, following her foster mom everywhere and showering new friends with affection and cuddles. She's smart, young, and eager to learn, picking up new lessons quickly. Her foster family describes her as a very sweet girl who craves love and attention and strives to please.
Ideal Home
Mila would thrive in a home with a moderately to very active family who wants an outdoors companion. She enjoys playtime with larger dogs and does well meeting new canine friends, though she can be a bit jumpy. She would likely do well with children over 10 who are dog-savvy. A home where someone is around more often would be ideal, as she's not crate trained and is used to having access to a doggy door.
Ongoing Health
Mila is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. We do not have any specific health concerns to report at this time.
Training & Support
Mila is a quick learner and eager to please, but she is still young and would benefit from continued training. She has a tendency to jump on other dogs, so consistent redirection will be helpful. To ensure household harmony, it's recommended to feed Mila separately, as she is very food motivated. She has proven trustworthy when left unsupervised as long as food and trash are secured.
