About Jinglebell

Jinglebell (JB) is a fully grown 11mo cattle dog/terrier mix, coming in at a whopping 25ish pounds. Despite his size, he is becoming braver and more confident each and every day. JB needs a calm and patient home, that understands that it might take several days for him to truly start feeling safe in his new environment.

You can tell that all he wants is to love & be loved when he peeks his lil head around the corner. With praise, and getting down to his level, his tail will start waging and he'll be ready to come right to you (treats help).

I don't think JB should be in a home with children (older respectful teens might be ok). Not because he would be a danger to them, but because it'll take even longer for him to adjust, and he might maintain his skittish nature. Sudden movements and new things can startle him, but all he needs is for you to let him know he's safe and to be given some space as he figures this new world out.

His playful side is slowly but surely coming out, and needs a home with a moderate-energy fur sibling that understands boundaries. He has lived his entire life with his brother, but they need to be separated to avoid future littermate syndrome. So JB will need a confident fur sibling to help him through this transition.

JB is fully potty trained (but might have small accidents if he's scared) and sleeps through the night in his kennel.
