Meet Caramel!

This approximately 5-month-old German Shepherd mix is a real sweetheart with giant paws, an even bigger heart, and a personality that's sure to bring smiles. We think she's going to grow into a wonderfully big girl! Caramel is outgoing, social, and loves everyone she meets. She's also dog-friendly and plays gently with other pups.

Ideal Home

Caramel is looking for an active family who can help her channel her puppy energy in positive ways. She loves hiking, exploring, and especially water! A securely fenced yard is a must. Due to her size and enthusiastic nature, she would do best in a home with older children. She can coexist with cats, but will chase if they run.

Ongoing Health

Caramel is current on vaccines and prevention and is microchipped. She will be adopted with a spay contract to allow her bones to grow properly.

Training & Support

Caramel is house-trained and does well in her crate when left alone, though she might let you know she's there before settling down. She should be crated when left unsupervised to prevent her from counter-surfing. She is eager to learn and will thrive with continued positive reinforcement training, plus mental enrichment and regular exercise to keep her smart Shepherd brain engaged.
