NALA

Nala is an 11-month-old German Shepherd mix who is as sweet and loving as they come! She was rescued after being surrendered to a local shelter at just five weeks old due to a special need. Nala was born with Megaesophagus, a condition where food needs a little extra help to get to her stomach. After every meal, she needs to sit upright for about 30 minutes, which we affectionately call "Nala's snuggle time." This special time is a wonderful opportunity for bonding, and Nala is happy to either rest or drift off to sleep in your company. Despite this, she's a playful and active puppy who adores her siblings and enjoys a good cuddle and playtime with her toys. She has a low to medium energy level and is incredibly friendly towards everyone, including dogs, children, and all people.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home where her humans understand and can accommodate her feeding routine. Her friendly nature makes her a great fit for households with other dogs and children.

Ongoing Health

Nala has Megaesophagus and requires a 30-minute upright rest period after each meal. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and has a wonderful temperament. Her special feeding routine is already well-established.
