Meet Hachi!
Hachi is an approximately 2-year-old, 50 lb bundle of love who was rescued from a hoarding situation and spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel. Despite his past, Hachi has a remarkably soft heart and a wagging tail, ready to shower his people with affection. He is a total love bug who adores spending time with humans, is wonderful with children, and greets everyone with a friendly spirit. He especially cherishes simple joys like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family, things he never experienced before his rescue. Hachi is a resilient and charming boy who is crate trained, potty trained, and eager to find his forever home. He rides well in the car and would make a great adventure buddy, enjoying a good romp but also happy to snuggle up afterwards. Hachi is looking for a home where he can be included, cherished, and loved, allowing him to forget his past and embrace his future.
Ideal Home
Hachi is looking for a home where he is included, cherished, and loved. He would do best with confident dogs after slow introductions, as he can sometimes act like a "big tough guy" with more timid pups.
Ongoing Health
Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. He is estimated to be closer to 60 lbs when he reaches his ideal weight, so he will need a family who can provide him with plenty of good food and treats!
Training & Support
Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. While he does best with slow introductions to other dogs, once he trusts another pup, he's all in.
