Josie is a sweet and loving companion who would be a perfect addition to any family. She's a Staffordshire Terrier mix, estimated to be born on October 26, 2023, and currently weighs 41 lbs. Josie is the ultimate cuddle buddy, always ready for a snuggle session. She enjoys playing with her toys, lounging in the sun, and cherishes chicken nuggets! She has adjusted wonderfully in her foster home, where she lives with children and other dogs, and gets along great with both. Josie is already potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and knows commands like "sit" and "stay." Her treat-motivated nature makes her eager to learn and become an integral part of your family pack. When she's not exploring or playing, her favorite activities include napping on the couch and going for car rides. Josie was rescued from a county shelter as a neglect case and, despite a rough start, has made incredible progress. She's still gaining a bit of weight but is healthy and ready to find her forever home.

Josie is located in Houston, TX. Transportation is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to various locations. Please note that pickup locations may vary. We coordinate with third-party ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and will receive updates.
