Catfish

Catfish is a sweet 8+ year old, 69 lb lady who is looking for her forever home. She came to us as a stray with a past full of quiet evidence of a hard life. The shelter environment was a bit too much for her, and she even found herself on the euthanasia list when she fell ill. Thankfully, a dedicated foster stepped in and rescued her just in time! Catfish has an abundance of love to give, and she's learning to accept it with grace. She can be a bit eager for affection, wanting to be as close as possible. This isn't out of pushiness, but because kindness and affection are still new concepts for her. With patience and gentle guidance, she's discovering that love can be calm and safe. Catfish is dog-neutral and gets along best with well-behaved dogs who understand and respect her boundaries.
