Flacko

Meet Flacko! This handsome 8-month-old German Shepherd mix is about 40lbs and is a certified good boy! Flacko is a bundle of energy and affection, always eager to please his people. He loves playing with other dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries, even earning an A++ from Doggie Daycare Playgroups. He's also done wonderfully with his foster's 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy having human siblings to play with. After a good romp, Flacko loves nothing more than some quality cuddle time, rolling over for belly rubs. He's also a huge fan of pool time and will happily entertain himself with his favorite toys.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in an experienced home that can help him navigate the world with confidence. He's a bit of a wild man when playing and is still working on puppy manners like jumping and leash pulling, so he'll need supervision around smaller children. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and is looking for a cat buddy, his enthusiasm might be a bit much for some feline friends.

Ongoing Health

Flacko is neutered and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained, which is a great head start! He is, however, still working on his puppy manners, including jumping and leash pulling. Consistent training and supervision will help him master these skills.

Transporation

Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported to approved adopters once a match is made. Transports run every few weeks.
