Acerola is a handsome pup who is the ultimate companion, equal parts playful athlete and world-class couch potato. He absolutely loves to cuddle and wants nothing more than to be right by your side. If you have a spot on the couch, room in your heart, and a basket full of toys, Acerola is ready to move right in. He is a gentle soul who takes a moment to assess his surroundings, but once he knows he's safe, his joyful, loving personality completely shines! Acerola absolutely loves other dogs and has fantastic social skills, taking corrections beautifully. He has successfully lived with dogs of all sizes. Though he starts off a little shy, once the ice is broken, he is incredibly playful, has a deep love for all toys, and is a certified master of the backyard zoomies! Acerola is friendly with people and has done wonderfully during brief meet-and-greets with children. He is fully crate trained and views his crate as his safe haven, which keeps him safe and successful when you're away from home. Acerola has an active mind and loves a good chewing challenge, so keep him stocked up on Nylabones and tough toys. He prefers a bed-free crate for now, as he likes to "remodel" his bedding. Acerola thrives on a good routine and excels with a frequent, structured potty schedule. He walks absolutely beautifully on a leash, making him the perfect partner for neighborhood strolls and outdoor adventures.
