Mona

Meet Mona! This gorgeous 2 year old mountain cur mix was surrendered to us with some other dogs through no fault of their own. Their owner fell on hard times and decided these dogs deserved forever homes elsewhere. Now, Mona is settling into her new life and learning how to be a real dog. She's never lived inside before, so extra tlc and decompression are needed to ensure she thrives! Mona is a sweet, smart, and active girl who gets along with other dogs. She is a higher energy girl that thrives with physical and mental stimulation. Here's what some volunteers had to say about her!

"She was wonderful! She is independent in a good way so wants some loving but also likes to do her own thing. She did good on the leash and was very eager to sniff everything. She did very well sitting at the restaurant with us, there was definitely a few moments where she wanted to go greet people and other dogs but she did a overall good job of listening when we asked her to come back and lay. Overall she was wonderful and we enjoyed our time with her!!"
