Horizon

Horizon is a two-year-old, 70-pound Great Pyrenees with a heart of gold and a spirit as bright as her name. She's been waiting for her forever home for over six months, but through it all, she's maintained the sunniest disposition! Horizon has faced some medical challenges, including a spay surgery complication that led to a large open wound, a severe bout of pneumonia, and even surgery to remove a swallowed plastic ball. Despite these hurdles, her resilience and cheerful nature shine through.

Horizon is the perfect "everything in one" package. She loves to play and run, gets along wonderfully with every dog and human she meets, enjoys her meals, and cherishes nap time. She's ready for any adventure, whether it's a cozy movie night, a day trip, or a ten-mile hike – she'll embrace every moment with enthusiasm!

Ideal Home

Horizon would thrive in an active home where she can live life to the fullest. A home with at least one other dog is a requirement, as she loves canine companionship. A secure, six-foot fence is also a must for her safety and enjoyment.

Ongoing Health

Horizon has overcome significant medical challenges, including complications from her spay surgery, pneumonia, and surgery for ingesting a plastic ball. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Horizon is house-trained. Her outgoing and friendly nature means she's likely to succeed with consistent positive reinforcement.
