BAXTER (Gorgeous Low Shedding Boy, Loving, Sweet, Good with Kids & Dogs)

Baxter is a handsome, low-shedding Irish Wolfhound/Giant Schnauzer mix with a sweet, affectionate personality. This big, scruffy boy loves to snuggle, play with squeaky toys, fetch, explore outdoors, and relax with his people afterward. He is currently in foster care after being rescued from abandonment and is ready for a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

Baxter gets along with other dogs, especially female dogs, and is currently fostering with children ages 3 and 5. Because he does not always realize his size, older children may be a better fit. A home without cats or chickens is recommended, as Baxter is curious about them. He would enjoy an active family and outdoor adventures.

Ongoing Health

• Baxter weighs 80 pounds and is estimated to have been born on August 26, 2023.
• He is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.
• He receives Credelio for flea and tick prevention and Interceptor Plus for heartworm prevention.
• He will receive a full veterinary checkup and health certificate before travel.

Training & Support

• Crate trained and house trained.
• Learning leash skills.
• Not destructive and generally not a chewer.
• Enjoys baths and drinking from the garden hose.
