Mallory

Meet Mallory! This intelligent and athletic 2-3 year old Dutch Shepherd mix is ready for her forever home after being found as a stray during a storm. She's a sweet girl who thrives on praise and petting, and loves to be around other dogs. Mallory is house-trained, crate-trained, and a quick learner. She's also good in the car and can be a great companion at work, as she's friendly with dogs and customers alike.

Ideal Home

Mallory would likely do well with children over 5 years old. She has a prey drive with cats, so a cat-free home is a must. She can be possessive of food and toys, so her new family should be prepared to provide additional training for resource guarding. Because she can scale a 4-foot fence, a secure yard is important.

Ongoing Health

Mallory is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mallory has basic obedience training and listens well to redirection. Additional training will be needed to help with her resource guarding.

Transporation

Mallory is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
