Meet Wayne! Wayne is a 5-year-old Sheepdog/Poodle mix with a gentle heart and a soft, soulful presence. This big fluffy boy may be a little shy at first, but beneath that reserved exterior is a true sweetheart just waiting to bond with his person. He is currently being cared for in a foster home. Once Wayne begins to trust you, his affectionate and loyal nature shines through. He enjoys quiet companionship, cozy spots to relax, and simply being near the people he loves. He’s not the type to rush into new situations, but with kindness and consistency, he will blossom into a devoted and loving companion.
Ideal Home
Wayne thrives in a calm, understanding environment and will need a patient owner who can give him the time and reassurance he needs to feel safe and confident. He would do best in a home that can offer a steady routine and gentle encouragement as he continues to come out of his shell.
Ongoing Health
All of Da Vinci's Dream rescue dogs receive medical care before adoption and are placed only after they are ready for a home. Wayne has been spayed or neutered (if age appropriate), fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, maintained on heartworm prevention, treated for fleas and ticks, and dewormed as needed.
Training & Support
Wayne may need patience, consistency, and training in his new home to help him feel comfortable and confident.

Wayne is currently fostered in Adair County, KY. Transport is available for approved adopters in select locations, including Greenwood, Indiana; Wilmington, Ohio; and Washington, Pennsylvania.
