But don't worry, she's now healthy, thriving, and ready for her forever home! She's even quite fond of her recovery shirt. Delaware is resilient, full of spunk, and loves to play. Her favorite pastime is zooming and lounging in the grass – a simple joy she cherishes after her time in the shelter. She adores people of all ages and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. Delaware is looking for a loving family to shower her with the care, patience, and affection she deserves as she continues to heal from past neglect. Transportation:
Delaware is currently in Houston, TX, but transportation is available to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN, and OH. Our transport buses are equipped for comfort with air conditioning, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You'll be able to follow her journey on a private Facebook event page with photos and updates. Our Adoption Coordinator will help find the closest transport pickup location for you. The adoption and transportation fee ranges from $100-$500, with a $75 fee for those picking up at our Angleton, TX location. This fee covers transport and includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
