My name is Evie, and I'm a 5-pound cuddle bug who's about 5 years old, likely a terrier mix. I absolutely adore snuggling up with my favorite people, sometimes even trying to burrow under the covers at your feet! I'm good with other dogs, but I dream of being your one and only as I'm a true lapdog. I'm always overjoyed to greet you at the door, but please be careful when opening it – I get so excited, I might just slip out! I'm a very smart girl who listens well, but I also love to run, so a fenced yard is a must, or I need to be on a leash when outside. Tie-outs are a no-go for me. I'm already potty pad trained and I do enjoy going outside to do my business.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a loving home where I can be a big part of your family! A securely fenced yard is essential, or I'll need to be kept on a leash during outdoor excursions.

Ongoing Health

I'm spayed, up-to-date on all my shots, microchipped, and currently on flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

I listen well, but I have a love for running, so a fence or leash is a must. I am potty pad trained and also like to go outside.

Application Details:

• Adoption fees are $400 and help support our rescue efforts.
• We require an in-person meeting.
• We do not adopt dogs as gifts unless the recipient meets the dog first.
• Ongoing veterinary care, including heartworm and flea medication, and yearly vaccinations, is required.

Transportation

I am currently in Marion, IN. We require a face-to-face meeting and do not ship our dogs.
