Meet August! This silly, 3-4 year old pit bull mix is a total sweetheart who came to us from a local vet clinic where she was abandoned over a year ago. August has never met a stranger and loves to get the silliest zoomies! She enjoys running around, playing, and is a sucker for a belly rub. She is food motivated, making her eager to learn. August is ready to find her forever home where she can be showered with love.

Ideal Home

August gets along with other dogs, but she is a dominant girl, so she would do best with more submissive canine friends.

Ongoing Health

August has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

August is working hard on her leash skills and manners. With positive reinforcement and consistency, she'll be a star!

Transporation

August is located in South Carolina. We transport dogs to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
