Meet Barry White!
Barry is a 7-month-old Pit Bull/Lab mix with a heart full of love, a face made for kisses, and a personality that makes it impossible not to smile. He's a master of the puppy-dog eyes and genuinely believes people are the greatest thing he's ever seen. Barry loves being close to his people, leaning on them, and showering them with kisses. He's a perfect blend of playful energy and cuddly affection. When playtime is over, he's content to snuggle up on the couch. Barry is also known to be sweet and respectful around cats and has shown gentle and loving behavior around teenagers.
Ideal Home
Barry would do well in a home with another friendly dog, or as the center of attention. He has shown he can be polite and respectful around cats, but introductions should still be handled properly. He has also been wonderful with teenagers.
Ongoing Health
Barry is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Barry is still learning leash walking, as he finds many things more interesting than walking politely. However, he is young, eager to learn, and food motivated, making this a great time to continue building his skills and confidence.

Barry is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide via a USDA-certified transport system with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
