About Iris Darling Love

Meet Iris!

Iris is a 5-month-old Staffy/Lab mix with a chocolate coat, floppy ears, and the sweetest puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen. She has a unique expression that can sometimes look like a little pout, but don't let that fool you – this girl is incredibly happy and loves to shower everyone with kisses! If you're looking for a puppy who believes affection is a full-time job, Iris is ready to report for duty. Her biggest goal in life is to love everyone she meets and make sure they know it. She's very cuddly and will try to climb into your lap at every opportunity, convinced she's the perfect lap dog. Iris also adores other dogs and enjoys playing, wrestling, and cuddling with them. She has a wonderfully submissive, playful, and social nature when interacting with other canines. Iris is a soft-hearted pup who gets so excited to meet new people that she occasionally submissive pees due to happiness. She approaches the world with a sweet, gentle nature and a heart completely full of love.

Ideal Home

Iris would thrive in a home that enjoys an affectionate, people-oriented puppy. She's active enough for playtime and adventures, but she'd much rather be curled up next to her favorite people collecting cuddles at the end of the day. While she's done well around cats with supervision, she would do best with dog-savvy cats who appreciate a curious puppy.

Ongoing Health

Iris is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also receive a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable and a heartworm test. She will be spayed before adoption.

Training & Support

As Iris continues to grow and learn, she will benefit from positive training, structure, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence.
