About Mila

Meet Mila! Mila is a spayed, 3-year-old female Pitbull/Staffie mix who currently weighs around 40lbs. She is a very people-oriented girl who loves to follow her foster mom around everywhere. Mila doesn't seem to know any strangers and gets super excited to greet new friends. She is affectionate and cuddly, often lying down nearby to ask for pets and kisses. Mila is smart, young, and very teachable, quickly picking up on new lessons. She enjoys exploring and is super curious.

Ideal Home

Mila would thrive in a home with a moderately to very active family. She would do best with older children (over 10 years old) who are dog-savvy, or no children at all. She would also love to have at least one other dog to play with, especially larger pups who can keep up with her energy. Mila's ideal home would have someone who is home more often than not, as she is not crate trained and is used to having freedom to go in and out. A securely fenced yard would be a great addition!

Ongoing Health

Mila is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has no known health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Mila has a tendency to jump on other dogs during playtime, so continued training to curb this behavior is recommended. She also loves food and treats, so while she hasn't shown aggression, feeding her separately is recommended for household harmony. Mila has not been crate trained and has access to a doggy door. She has proven trustworthy when left unsupervised, as long as food is put away and trash cans are empty. Mila is still young and needs some training, but with patience and reassurance, she will be a wonderful companion.
