Anita

Miss Anita is a beautiful tawny girl who found herself in a tough spot when her previous owner moved and left her behind. Neighbors stepped in to help, and after a couple of attempts to find her a home on social media didn't pan out, they reached out to us for assistance. Anita is a great girl who has been spayed, and she recently underwent cherry eye surgery removal on August 13, 2024. She formed a strong bond with her previous male foster but took a little time to warm up to her female foster. It's important for Anita to have decompression time to settle successfully into her new home. Once she felt comfortable with slow introductions, she even began playing with her Neo brother in Arizona!

Ideal Home

Anita would thrive in a home where her new family has the time and patience to help her adjust. She did warm up to a male foster dog after a few days and eventually played with him, so a home with a resident male dog and slow introductions could be a good fit.

Ongoing Health

Anita has had cherry eye surgery removal on 8/13/24.

Training & Support

Anita will need dedicated decompression time to settle into her new home. Slow introductions to new people and pets will be key to her success.
