Jackie - URGENT

Jackie is a sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua who is unfortunately in urgent need of a loving home. She's currently at the Kern County Animal Services shelter in Bakersfield and has been waiting for her family since May 30, 2026. Jackie is a small dog with short, black and brown/chocolate fur, and she is ready to leave the shelter life behind and start her new adventure with you!

Ideal Home

Jackie would love a home where she can feel safe and loved. As she is currently at a shelter with over 300 other animals and limited outdoor space, any home that can offer her more personal attention and a comfortable environment would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Jackie is vaccinated and ready to go! There are no known ongoing health concerns mentioned at this time.

Training & Support

Jackie is not house-trained. She will need a patient and dedicated adopter to help her learn the ropes and become comfortable in her new environment.

Transporation

Jackie is located at the Kern County Animal Services shelter in Bakersfield, California. Wags can arrange transportation if you are on the West Coast. Adopters are responsible for any transport fees.
