Koda

Koda is a handsome, people-pleasing pup born in July 2022. He's incredibly smart, learning tricks like sit, stay, lay down, turn around, and paw in mere minutes. Koda is also crate and leash trained and loves people. He is friendly with all female dogs but can be a bit of a bully with male dogs, though he's never hurt another dog. Koda wants absolutely no feline friends in his home. Sadly, Koda was kept in a crate 24/7 for his first year, which means he is not house-broken. While we've worked with him for a year with no success in house training, he would do wonderfully as an indoor/outdoor dog where he can play outside but come in for crate time and when he gets hot. Koda absolutely loves the cold, and the colder the better for this furry friend!

Ideal Home

Koda would do best in a home with plenty of land for him to roam and play. He needs a family prepared to work with him on house training and understands his need for outdoor access. A home with no male dogs or cats is essential for Koda's happiness.

Ongoing Health

Koda is up-to-date on vaccinations and neutered. He has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Koda is not house-broken due to his past living situation. He is a very smart dog and learns quickly but can be stubborn. Consistent routine and positive reinforcement will be key to his success.
