Meet Loki Blue, a 7-year-old, 95 lb terrier mix with a heart as big as his appetite! Loki is a gentle giant who lost his beloved owner and is now looking for a second chance at a happy life. He's a bit of a "squishy meatball" and needs a family who can help him on his weight loss journey with healthy eating and leisurely walks. Despite his size, Loki is a true sweetheart who loves belly rubs, kind words, and being told he's a handsome boy (which he is!). He previously lived with and adored two Chihuahuas, so he's open to sharing his home with a canine companion, provided proper introductions. Loki is already housebroken, making him a wonderful addition for any family. He's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Loki is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy couch, family movie nights, and an endless supply of "good boy" affirmations.
Ideal Home
Loki would love a home where he can receive plenty of attention and affection. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a canine sibling. While he's a gentle giant, Loki previously lived with small dogs, proving his ability to coexist peacefully. Families with children are welcome to apply. A fenced yard is not required.
Ongoing Health
Loki is currently heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Loki is already housebroken. He is working on managing his weight through a healthy diet and regular exercise.
