Ashton is a 4-year-old, 88-pound bundle of sunshine who's ready to bring his happy, energetic spirit into your home. He was a beloved family member since puppyhood until his people had to move. Adjusting to shelter life has been a journey, but Ashton is tackling it with all the enthusiasm of a true Labrador! He's a master of fetch, always eager to bring the ball back for another round, and he thrives on playtime and quality time with his favorite humans. Ashton is a strong boy with a big personality to match, and while he sometimes forgets his size, his sweet nature shines through. He's also made some canine friends here at the shelter, showing he can be a great companion to other dogs.

Ashton is looking for a committed family who can offer him the stability and love he deserves. He'd love a home where he can continue to be active and enjoy plenty of playtime.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will undergo treatment at our shelter. It's essential that his future family commits to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to keep him healthy and happy for years to come.

Training & Support

Ashton is a smart boy who loves to please. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to learn and grow. He's eager to please and will likely pick up new training quickly.
