Meet Akira!

This sweet, 5.5-year-old Staffordshire mix weighs about 60lbs and has a face you'll never forget. Akira was rescued from the euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. We're not sure why she hasn't received any applications because she's truly a gem! Akira is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is incredibly gentle when taking treats. You'll often find her lounging on a comfy bed, but she's always ready for a walk. She entertains herself with chew bones and her favorite stuffed toys. Akira adores people and enjoys the company of calm, submissive dogs. However, her ultimate dream is to be your one and only companion, showering you with a lifetime of unconditional love.
