A little about them
Shy is a sweet, gentle 1-year-2-month-old Boxer/Great Pyrenees mix who weighs 53 pounds. She came to the shelter with her sister after an accidental pregnancy and is looking for a patient, loving home where she can build trust and confidence.
Ideal Home
Shy is timid with new people, places, and experiences. She would do best with adopters who have plenty of time, love, and experience. Once she trusts you, she becomes a devoted shadow. She is good with other dogs, curious, and loves carrying stuffed toys like security blankets.
Ongoing Health
Shy is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and receiving heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee includes a heartworm test. She does well with baths, and separation anxiety is suspected.
Training & Support
Shy is treat motivated but needs continued work with housebreaking and leash walking. She will need patient support as she develops confidence.
