Meet Barbie! This spunky, shy girl is a one-year-old, 25 lb bundle of love with a unique look, resembling a little black fox with hints of Schipperke. Barbie came to us from a hoarding situation and was initially very fearful, relying on her brother for comfort. Thanks to the dedication of her foster family, she has made incredible progress and is now ready to find her forever home!

Barbie is a sweet soul who just craves love, but she needs to trust you first. Patience is key with Barbie, as everything needs to be on her terms. She's learning to blossom and is working on her basic commands, but she already knows "wait," "come," and gets excited when she hears, "Want to go for a walk?" She's a quiet girl who yips instead of barks and enjoys a good chase, especially with her three-legged sister around the yard or at the dog park. Barbie also loves exploring on hikes.

Ideal Home

Barbie would thrive in a home that offers a loving, patient environment with consistency. A fenced-in yard is a must for her to safely explore and play. She would do well with other friendly dogs, cats, and older, dog-smart children.

Training & Support

Basic obedience classes are strongly suggested. This will not only help Barbie learn good manners but also create a wonderful bonding experience for you both.
