Meet Buddy McBee! This handsome 3.5-year-old, 63 lb Australian Shepherd mix has a heart full of love just waiting for the right person to see it. Buddy came to us from a shelter with a past that wasn't always kind, making him a bit unsure at first. But with patience and a loving foster, he's blossomed, learning that people can be safe, kind, and loving. Once Buddy trusts you, his affectionate personality truly shines! He loves to play and run in the backyard, and thrives when he can burn off energy. He's leash-trained, knows commands like "sit," "shake," and "down," and has even worked with a professional trainer, including muzzle training and learning to remain calm.

Ideal Home

Buddy needs a calm, experienced dog owner who understands that building trust takes time. He would do best in a home without young children but could be a good match for a mellow, respectful dog companion. A calm and confident presence will help him feel safe and secure, as he tends to mirror your energy.

Ongoing Health

Buddy has no known ongoing health conditions mentioned. His adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and a microchip.
