About Mustard

Mustard is a well-mannered gentleman, a true Gentle Giant who listens and always tries his best to make his humans proud. Don't let his size fool you; he moves carefully around people and loves soft pets and cuddles. He's a smart cookie with German Shepherd genes, learning quickly and enjoying having a job to do, even if that job is just being your loyal best friend. Mustard wants a safe home, a cozy spot to rest, and humans to love with his whole heart. He promises unwavering loyalty, sweet companionship, and lots of tail wags in return. If you’re looking for a devoted, intelligent, well-mannered Gentle Giant to stand by your side, Mustard might be your guy!

Ideal Home

Mustard would love a family who will keep his mind engaged, take him on adventures, and let him show off how clever he is. He is dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and while he is generally friendly, excited, curious, and happy with new people, he can be timid for a moment before warming up quickly. Mustard is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mustard is up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. He has no known health issues.

Training & Support

Mustard is house-trained, crate-trained (he loves his crate and goes into it willingly), and leash-trained. He is patient and gentle with children when introduced, and he waits for them to pet him, wagging his tail and embracing their affection.
