Mabel is a delightful 2.5-year-old pit bull mix, weighing 64 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever home! Mabel was found abandoned and scared but has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely adores people. Her favorite activities include cuddling up close, showering her humans with kisses, going for car rides, and being the center of attention. She's a happy and outgoing pup who greets everyone, including children, with enthusiasm. Mabel has shown particular gentleness and patience with the foster family's autistic son, making her a truly special companion.
Ideal Home
Mabel would thrive in a home filled with love, comfortable couches for endless snuggles, and people who appreciate her loyal, affectionate, and goofy personality. She would likely do well with a playful, tolerant dog companion or as the sole pampered pet. However, she would likely do best in a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Mabel appreciates a little extra patience and support during vet visits and when undergoing certain procedures to help her feel safe.
Training & Support
Mabel enjoys playing with other medium to large dogs and can get a bit overexcited during playtime, still learning when it's time to wind down. She may pull on the leash when she sees other dogs but is making good progress with her leash manners. Mabel is not a fan of crates and prefers to sleep snuggled with her people, a preference she happily continues. She has no issues being left unsupervised and doesn't engage in destructive behavior.
